Mental Health Bill Reintroduced (South Australia) 19-11-2008
 
The State Government's proposed overhaul of the State's mental health legislation will continue, with a reform Bill reintroduced into State Parliament. Mental Health and Substance Abuse Minister Jane Lomax-Smith says the new legislation aims to transform the requirements around treating people with serious mental illness.

PUBLIC transport on Sundays is now free for carers and people receiving disability pensions in Victoria. 06-11-2008
 
Victorian public transport minister Lynne Kosky said those on disability support pensions or receiving carer payments could now travel free on Sundays, along with Victorian senior card holders, from October 26.
